Resolution number CEN/2019/1 MOVED by Ms N Buckland, seconded by Mr G Cohen: That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board: a) accept the apologies from Member N Blair, Member B Corban and Mayor P Goff for absence. |
Note: An apology was subsequently received from M Kingsford for absence. |

Resolution number CEN/2019/2 MOVED by Ms A Malcolm, seconded by Mr N Murphy: That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board: a) confirm the ordinary minutes of its meeting, held on Wednesday, 21 November 2018, as a true and correct record. |

Dr Nick Talbot, Air Quality Scientist was in attendance to speak to a PowerPoint presentation. A letter to Auckland Transport was also tabled. Copies have been placed on the official minutes and are available on the Auckland Council website as minutes attachments. |

Resolution number CEN/2019/3 MOVED by Mr Reynolds, seconded by Mr N Murphy: That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board: a) note with serious concern the content of the air quality presentation and thank Dr Talbot for his attendance and engaging delivery. b) note and support Councillor Chris Darby’s joint letter to Auckland Transport which expresses concerns and poses potential solutions. This also includes the concerns of the Waitematā Local Board and the support of Councillor Mike Lee. c) support reviewing the earlier work done concerning black carbon levels in Queen Street. d) delegate the chair of the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board to write to the chief executive of Auckland Transport to express Auckland City Centre Advisory Board’s concerns and seek action regarding the reduction of air pollution in the city centre. |

Resolution number CEN/2019/4 MOVED by Ms N Buckland, seconded by Chairperson V Beck: That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board: a) receive the information regarding the proposed approach for the City Centre Masterplan 2040 refresh. b) agree to hold two workshops, one with staff (a framework to be provided by the CCMP team) and one with Auckland City Centre Advisory Board members only, to inform its feedback on the CCMP refresh by the end of April.

Auckland City Centre Advisory Board member Patrick Reynolds presented an alternative option PowerPoint presentation on behalf of the board’s sub group.

Resolution number CEN/2019/5 MOVED by Ms N Buckland, seconded by Mr N Murphy: That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board: a) receive the Albert Street bus update report and associated presentation. b) delegate to the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board chair and Councillor Chris Darby, the re-escalation of this issue to the chief executive of council, the chief executive of Auckland Transport and copied to Mayor Phil Goff. |

Resolution number CEN/2019/6 MOVED by Mr N Murphy, seconded by Mr M Richardson: That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board: a) note the new structured approach to reporting on city centre programmes and initiatives b) note that the 2019 Auckland City Centre Advisory Board forward work programme will be updated following the board’s February 2019 meeting to reflect the new structure and schedule. |
