Mayor P Goff entered the meeting at 10.28am. Mayor P Goff retired from the meeting at 11.00am. IMSB Member G Wilcox left the meeting at 11.35am. Cr J Watson left the meeting at 11.30pm. Cr J Watson returned to the meeting at 12.00pm. |

Sunil Kaushal, Chairperson of the Ethnic Peoples Advisory Panel introduced Anjum Rahman of the Islamic Women’s Council of New Zealand. A PowerPoint presentation from Anjum Rahman was provided at the meeting. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment. Sunil Kaushal introduced the Parliamentary Under-Secretary to the Minister for Ethnic Communities and Member of Parliament for Mt Roskill, Michael Wood. Sunil Kaushal introduced Jade Tang-Taylor, Deputy Chair of the Ethnic Peoples Advisory Panel. A PowerPoint presentation from Jade Tang-Taylor was provided at the meeting.
