Adoption of the Henderson-Massey Local Board
Agreement 2019/2020

MOVED by Member W Flaunty, seconded by Member B Brady:
That the Henderson-Massey
Local Board:
a) adopt local content for the Annual Budget 2019/2020 (Attachment A), including:
i) a Local Board Agreement 2019/2020
ii) a message from the Chair
iii) local board advocacy.
b) adopt local fees and charges schedules for 2019/2020 (Attachment B).
c) delegate authority to the Chair to make any final minor changes to
the local content for the Annual Budget 2019/2020,
including the Local Board Agreement 2019/2020.
d) note with concern that the Local
Board Agreement 2019/2020 local activity budgets had not
been presented to local board members prior to being tabled at the meeting.
Whilst acknowledging the need to reflect final budget decisions made by the Governing Body on 22 May 2019 draft figures should be
supplied for consideration prior.
e) note
that the local board has made significant investment into being more
responsive to Maori and request that future local board agreement templates
give consideration to demonstrating how each local board is responding to
Maori.
f) note
that the resolutions of this meeting will be reported back
to the Governing Body when it meets to adopt the Annual Budget
2019/2020 on 20 June 2019.
