The Chairperson welcomed those present and Member Peter Chan led the meeting in prayer.

Resolution number HM/2019/96 MOVED by Chairperson S Henderson, seconded by Deputy Chairperson P Chan: That the Henderson-Massey Local Board: a) consider the extraordinary item Productivity Commission’s inquiry into local government funding and financing at item 18 – Consideration of Extraordinary Items of this agenda, noting: i) the reason the matter was not on the agenda is because staff did not have sufficient information in time for the report to be included on agenda and ii) the reason the matter cannot be delayed until a subsequent meeting is that the deadline for feedback is 29 July, before the next business meeting in August. |

Proposed Central Park Henderson Business Association Inc Business Improvment District (BID) Programme Establishment Map. |

Resolution number HM/2019/98 MOVED by Chairperson S Henderson, seconded by Member V Neeson: That the Henderson-Massey Local Board: a) approve the Central Park Henderson Business Association Inc proposed Business Improvement District (BID) boundary establishment to include properties identified in a map of the proposed BID boundary as per agenda report. b) approve the funding request of $55,000, as a discretionary grant from its Community Response Fund, to assist with the cost of the BID establishment project including the BID ballot. |
