Glenn Boyd, Relationship Manager, opened the meeting and welcomed those present.
Acknowledgement: 1 minute’s silence was observed for the tragic loss of life on White Island and the Samoan measles epidemic.
Resolution number MHFJC/2019/33 MOVED by Member S Toms, seconded by Member C Makoare: That the Manukau Harbour Forum: a) accept the apology from Members, Jessica Rose, George Hawkins, Dawn Trenberth, Michelle Clayton and Lemauga Lydia Sosent for absence. |

Re-establishment of Manukau Harbour Forum Joint Committee for the 2019-2022 term |

Resolution number MHFJC/2019/34 MOVED by Member A Cole, seconded by Member J Turner: That the Manukau Harbour Forum: a) note the resolutions from the nine-member local boards which re-establish the forum and advise of representation. b) adopt the terms of reference, which sets out the purpose and principles of the Forum as confirmed by the nine local member boards. c) confirm Friday 14 February at 12.00pm at Manukau Civic Centre for its first business meeting and workshop. |

Resolution number MHFJC/2019/35 MOVED by Member S Toms, seconded by Member A Cole: That the Manukau Harbour Forum: a) approve the allocation of $22,000 from the Manukau Harbour Forum 2019/20 work programme to fund and support a fixed term part-time Manukau Harbour Forum Coordinator. |

Saffron Toms advised that the Laingholm Beach previously closed due to water quality issues has now reopened. |
|
Alan Cole advised that Swimsafe – Watercare/Stormwater – 27 illegal connection at Clarks Beach. All connections have now been fixed. |
|
Jon Turner advised that the Boardwalk from Taumamu to Taylor’s Bay (walking from Onehunga to Lynfield Cove) is due to start construction this summer. |

Chris Makaore advised the the MTLB was again supporting the Onehunga Festival by the lagoon. |
12.43 pm The Chairperson thanked Members for their attendance and attention to business and declared the meeting closed.
