Resolution number HM/2020/61 MOVED by Member P Chan, seconded by Member B Brady: That the Henderson-Massey Local Board: a) recommends to the Governing Body the setting of the targeted rates for inclusion in the Annual Budget 2020/2021 for the following Business Improvement District (BID) programme: i) $102,000 for Te Atatu Peninsula Business Association Incorporated. |

Resolution number HM/2020/62 MOVED by Member B Brady, seconded by Member B Loader: That the Henderson-Massey Local Board: a) approve the establishment of the new Central Park Henderson Business Improvement District (BID) programme and boundary map (Attachment A). Note that information regarding the ballot and the Governing Body’s proposal to set the targeted rate will be included in the emergency budget consultation document and supporting information. b) recommend to the Governing Body to set the Central Park Henderson BID targeted rate by: i) using the Hybrid mechanism of a flat rate of $250 plus a percentage multiplied by capital value per rateable property (no GST applied to this flat rate amount) ii) setting the targeted rate at the lesser amount of $400,000 for the 2020/2021 financial year following further consultation as part of the emergency budget process. c) note that information regarding the ballot and the Governing Body’s proposal to set the targeted rate will be included in the emergency budget consultation document and supporting information. d) note that since completing the report updated BID target rate information has been received reducing the proposed 2020/2021 BID budget from $500,000 to $400,000 will lower the average BID targeted rate payment to $392 + GST. |
