CCO Review report feedback

 

A document titled ‘Kaipātiki Local Board submission on the Independent Panel Review of Auckland Council’s Council Controlled Organisations’ was tabled. A copy of the tabled document has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.

 

 

Resolution number KT/2020/137

MOVED by Chairperson J Gillon, seconded by Member A Tyler:  

That the Kaipātiki Local Board:

a)       welcome the findings and recommendations in the review of CCOs by the independent panel

b)       welcome the proposal in recommendation 34 on how to address CCO-local board engagement and request that this work be started as soon as possible

c)       provide the tabled document “Kaipātiki Local Board Submission on the Independent Panel Review of Auckland Council’s Council Controlled Organisations”, containing views and preferences of the Kaipātiki Local Board, to the Governing Body for their consideration.

d)       note that local boards will be able to provide input on the other relevant CCO review recommendations as they are further developed for implementation.
