a)      receive the attached documents relating to the business case on the additional Waitematā Harbour Connections.

b)      note that the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board and Kaipātiki Local Board will be meeting with Waka Kotahi (NZTA) in early December 2020 to discuss the additional Waitematā Harbour Connections business case.

c)     request that following discussions with Waka Kotahi (NZTA), the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board and Kaipātiki Local Board work together to formulate common feedback on the additional Waitematā Harbour Connections business case.

a)      receive the amended version of Paragraph 10, Figure 2 of the Community Facilities Sustainable Asset Standard agenda report.

b)      support the Community Facilities Sustainable Asset Standard as an action of the Te Tāruke-ā-Tāwhiri (Auckland’s Climate Plan).

Local board delegations to allow local views to be provided on matters relating to the COVID-19 Recovery (Fast-track Consenting) Act 2020 and the Urban Development Act

 

Resolution number DT/2020/177

MOVED by Deputy Chairperson G Wood, seconded by Member R Jackson:  

That the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board:

a)      delegate to Member Trish Deans, and Member Jan O’Connor as an alternate, the authority to provide the local board views in respect of matters under the COVID-19 Recovery (Fast-track Consenting) Act 2020, noting that given the timeframes under the Act, it is not practicable for the matters to come before the full local board.

b)      appoint a Member Trish Deans, and Member Jan O’Connor as an alternate, noting the experience and qualifications held by Member J O’Connor, as the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board representative as required, on any Political Working Group established (in accordance with the Planning Committee’s resolution PLA/2020/79 on 1 October 2020), to give political direction on the execution of the council’s powers under the Urban Development Act 2020.

c)      notes that Member Toni van Tonder and Member Trish Deans were delegated the authority to provide the local board views on resource consents and to be the point of consultation with relevant staff on all resource consent applications at their business meeting on Tuesday 19 November 2019 (DT/2019/67).
