Manukau Harbour Forum Joint Committee.

MOVED by Member S Toms, seconded by Member A Cole:
That
the Manukau Harbour Forum:
a) adopt
the Terms of Reference (2020) (Attachment A), which set out the purpose and
principles of the Forum and re-establishes the requirement to appoint of a
Chair and Deputy Chair from within the local board member delegates.

system B to elect the chairperson of the Manukau Harbour Forum for the remaining
2020-2022 political term.

of chairperson for the remaining 2020-2022 political terms.

Thoms nominated Member J Turner for the chairperson role. Member A Cole
seconded the nomination.

S Smurthwaite nominated Member A Cole. Member A Cole declined this
nomination.

the Manukau Harbour Forum:
a) elect
Member J Turner as Chairperson for the remaining 2020 - 2022 political term,
utilising either System A or System B of Schedule 7, Part 1, Clause 25 of the
Local Government Act 2002.

show of hands and was declared CARRIED by 7 votes to 0.
