Acknowledgement – passing of Dr Sydney
Choy

Resolution number PPK/2020/187
MOVED by Member F Auva'a, seconded by Member K Mealamu:
That
the Papakura Local Board:
a)
acknowledge the
passing of Dr Sydney Tasman Choy
on 30 October 2020. Dr Choy dedicated 54 years of service to the people of
Papakura which is an outstanding achievement. He was much loved and respected
by a very grateful community and was instrumental in bringing many babies
into this part of the world. He will be remembered for his self-sacrificing
home visits saving many lives in Papakura over the course of his career.

Adoption of the Papakura Local Board Plan
2020

Resolution
number PPK/2020/188
MOVED by Chairperson B Catchpole, seconded by Deputy
Chairperson J Robinson:
That
the Papakura Local Board:
a) adopt the Papakura Local Board Plan 2020 as
set out in Attachment A of the agenda report
b) delegate
authority to the Chairperson and/or the Deputy Chairperson of the Papakura
Local Board to approve any
minor edits that may be necessary to
the Papakura Local Board Plan 2020 prior to publication
c) thank
the submitters, public and staff for their contribution to the development of
the Papakura Local Board Plan 2020.
