That the Rural Advisory Panel:

a)         accept the apology from Member W Foster and Member G McCracken for lateness; and Member Peter Spencer and Ken Turner for absence.

Note:   An apology was subequently received from Member A McKenzie for lateness.

Members are reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

FMG Young Farmer of the Year 2019 - James Robertson

 

James Robertson – 2019 winner of the FMG Young Farmer of the Year and Gabrielle Cashmore – rural ambassador – Northern Districts Council of the New Zealand Royal Agricultural Society were present for the item.
