Minutes of a meeting of the Whau Local Board held in the Whau Local Board Office, 31 Totara Avenue, New Lynn on Wednesday, 9 December 2020 at 6:00pm.
As required under the COVID-19 Response (Urgent Management Measures) Legislation Act 2020, either a recording of the meeting or a written summary will be published on the Auckland Council website.

Chair K Thomas opened the meeting, welcomed those present and led a karakia.
There were no aplogies.
There were no declarations of interest.
Members are reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.
Specifically, members are asked to identify any new interests they have not previously disclosed, an interest that might be considered as a conflict of interest with a matter on the agenda.

Speaking on behalf of the Connaught Street residents, Tony Mitchell, Peter Over and Karen James addressed the local board to express concerns about speed tables and vibrations on the street caused by Auckland Transport buses, which became a mental health and safety issue for the residents. |
