The Disability Advisory Panel:
a) accepted the apology from Cr J Bartley for absence.

Note: The Disability Advisory Panel welcomed Greg
Morgan, Head of Response and Recovery, Auckland Emergency Management, as a new
Lead Officer Support, and acknowledged and thanked Tracie Simpson previous Lead
Officer Support of the panel, for her work.

Election of Disability Advisory Panel
co-chairs for the 2019 - 2022 term

The Disability Advisory Panel:
a) noted
that the co-chairs were elected by closed ballot, as agreed at a previous
panel workshop.
b) elected
Member Martine Abel-Williamson and
Member Jason Boberg as the co-chairs of the Disability Advisory Panel.
c) thanked
Member Rachel Paterson for her work as an interim co-chair of the Disability
Advisory Panel.

10-year Budget 2021-2031 - Process overview

A PowerPoint presentation was
provided. A copy has been attached to the official minutes and is available
on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.

The Disability Advisory Panel:
a) noted
the presentation on the 10-year Budget.
b) confirmed
that they would like to present to the Finance and Performance Committee
workshop on 21 April 2021 on their feedback.

|
|
Note: Members Renata
Kotua, Rachel Paterson and Gerard Martin agreed to collate the panel
member’s feedback with support from one of the panel staff team and
provide it to staff by end of March 2021.
|
