MOVED by Chairperson R Northey, seconded by Member J Sandilands: That the Waitematā Local Board: a) receive the public feedback to the proposal to amend Te Ture ā-Rohe Whakararata Waipiro / the Alcohol Control Bylaw 2014 by people from the local board area in this agenda report b) provide its views on the public feedback to assist the Bylaw Panel in its deliberations on all public feedback to the proposal: c) appoint one or more local board members to present the local board views to the Bylaw Panel on Friday 19 March 2021. |

Resolution number WTM/2021/33 MOVED by Member A Bonham, seconded by Member A Avendano Christie: an amendment to add item e): That the Waitematā Local Board: e) note that the Bylaw is to prevent disorderly behaviour, the board recommend that enforcement is led by behaviour rather than age, gender or race.

MOVED by Member G Gunthorp, seconded by Deputy Chairperson K Leoni: an amendment to edit item c) to exclude Christmas in the Park from the alcohol ban: That the Waitematā Local Board: c) support feedback by people from the Waitematā Local Board area for new temporary alcohol bans for some major events at Pukekawa / Auckland Domain in the bylaw, however excluding Christmas in the Park and other family focused events. A division was called for, voting on which was as follows:

Resolution number WTM/2021/40 MOVED by Chairperson R Northey, seconded by Member A Avendano Christie: That the Waitematā Local Board: a) adopt a temporary alcohol ban for the Outerfields 2021 festival at Western Springs Outer Fields for the area shown in Attachment A, from 7am on 6 March 2021 (day of event) to 7am on 7 March 2021 (day after event), or alternative date if rescheduled. |

MOVED by Member G Gunthorp, seconded by Member A Bonham: That the Waitematā Local Board: a) receive the Auckland Transport February 2021 report. b) request urgent consideration be given to opening up completed sections of the Karangahape Road development now including painting, and enforcement of bus lanes, to reduce congestion and improve safety for buses, cyclists and vehicles c) request advice regarding the city gateways treatments about the original design brief, who designed and approved it, and what stakeholders were consulted d) request advice as to whether consultation for Connected Communities Great North Road did start on 2 February or when it has been deferred until e) request identification of the locations within the Waitematā Local Board area that are experiencing or causing bus unreliability and what actions are proposed to resolve these f) request an update on the West Lynn cycleway remediation g) request information on street tree planting for this upcoming autumn.

Resolution number WTM/2021/41 MOVED by Member ST Trotman, seconded by Chairperson R Northey: an amendment to add items h) and i): That the Waitematā Local Board: h) note the value of these regular meetings with AT and note their continuation is helpful to meet recommendations of the CCO Review to enable collaboration between elected members and CCOs. i) note the importance to the board of tactical urbanism project in Saint George Bay Road and Faraday Street and that progress be reported to the board in monthly reports.
