Resolution number HM/2021/61 MOVED by Member I Papau, seconded by Member P Chan: The Henderson-Massey Local Board is saddened to learn of the passing of Brian Corban. He will be sorely missed in West Auckland. His passion for Corban Arts Centre shone through to everyone he met. He was well respected and spent his life serving our community, something we are incredibly grateful for, which lives on through the Arts Centre in Henderson. From children through to adults, families and groups, the impact the centre has had, and continues to have, in making art accessible for all in the community is immense and a testament to Brian’s leadership. On behalf of the board, our thanks and love go out to Brian, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. |
