Innovating Streets Project Decision Report |

John Adams, Randhir Kumar, Ben Stallworthy and Pragathi Vasisht of Auckland Transport were in attendance to speak to this item. A document was tabled for this item. A copy can be found on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment. |

That the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board: a) endorse Option Three (B), a significant modification of the Arthur Street low traffic neighbourhood’s layout to address community concerns allowing the project to continue including delivery of the Eastview low traffic neighbourhood; b) request an additional $300,000 from Waka Kotahi – New Zealand Transport Agency’s Innovating Streets for People pilot fund to deliver the Eastview low traffic neighbourhood as shown in Attachment G of this report.

MOVED by Member D Burrows, seconded by Member D Allan, an amendment to the original motion as follows: That the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board: a) cancel the Arthur Grey Low Traffic Area pilot project with immediate effect.
The motion was declared LOST by 3 votes to 4. |
