Resolution number GBI/2021/71 MOVED by Chairperson I Fordham, seconded by Member S Daly: That the Aotea / Great Barrier Local Board: a) note the following reports: i) Aotea / Great Barrier Natural Environment-Islands monthly update – May 2021 and welcome the appointment of Annamarie Clough as Conservation Advisor. ii) Windy Hill Rosalie Bay Catchment Trust report - The Social and Economic benefits to Aotea from the Windy Hill Sanctuary.

Approval of the 2021/2022 Aotea / Great Barrier Local Board Customer and Community Services work programme |

Resolution number GBI/2021/72 MOVED by Chairperson I Fordham, seconded by Member S Daly: That the Aotea / Great Barrier Local Board: a) approve the 2021/2022 Customer and Community Services work programme and associated budget and approve, in principle, the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 work programmes (Attachment A to the agenda report) with the following changes: i) lower the #155 Funding for connectivity improvements on Aotea / Great Barrier budget line from $8,000 to $4,000 in anticipation of a $4,000 carry forward from the 20/21 financial year. ii) increase the #1765 Food resilience and sustainability budget line by $4,000 to total $34,000 to assist with administration and capacity support for the project. b) allocate its transitional rates grants budget line to the #153 Community grants Great Barrier budget line (refer resolution GBI/2021/20). c) approve the Risk Adjusted Programme projects identified in the 2021/2022 Customer and Community Services work programme (Attachment A to the agenda report). d) note that funding for the Coastal Renewals, Landslide Prevention, Local Parks and Sports Field Development and the Natural Environment Targeted Rate budgets are subject to approval by the relevant Governing Body committee. e) provide feedback for consideration by the relevant Governing Body committee on projects funded from the Coastal Renewals, Landslide Prevention, Local Parks and Sports Field Development and the Natural Environment Targeted Rate budgets (Attachment D to the agenda report), as follows: i) ensure that mana whenua input for the two Coastal Renewals projects is engaged and progressed in a timely manner. f) thank Jestine Joseph, Mary Dawson, Katrina Morgan, Oliver Kunzendorff, Shane Hogg, Cynthia Delonge, Debra Langton and all other staff for their hard mahi, care and attention to detail in preparing the Customer and Community Services work programme for the 21/22 financial year.

Approval of the 2021/2022 Aotea / Great Barrier Local Board Infrastructure and Environmental Services Work Programme |

Resolution number GBI/2021/73 MOVED by Chairperson I Fordham, seconded by Member P O'Shea: That the Aotea / Great Barrier Local Board: a) approve its 2021/2022 Infrastructure and Environmental Services work programme and associated budgets, as summarised in the table below (Attachment A to the agenda report):
b) approve in principle the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 Infrastructure and Environmental Services work programmes (Attachment A to the agenda report) c) note that the indicative programmes and budgets for 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 are subject to change, and will be confirmed on an annual basis through the approval of the respective work programmes d) note that the attached environment work programme includes a regional Healthy Waters project related to an emergency water supply for Aotea / Great Barrier, to enable visibility on progress throughout the 2021/2022 financial year. e) when approved by the relevant Governing Body committee, request a copy of the forward work programme for the Natural Environment Targeted Rate and Water Quality Targeted Rate activities, be provided to all local boards highlighting areas of delivery. f) thank Jaimee Maha and all staff for their hard mahi, care and attention to detail in preparing the Infrastructure and Environmental Services work programme for the 21/22 financial year.

Resolution number GBI/2021/74 MOVED by Member P O'Shea, seconded by Member S Daly: That the Aotea / Great Barrier Local Board: a) approve the Auckland Emergency Management work programme 2021/2022 (Attachment A to the agenda report) b) thank Melanie Hutton, Bridget Vercoe and all other staff for their hard mahi, care and attention to detail in preparing the Auckland Emergency Management work programme for the 21/22 financial year.

Feedback on Equity of Service Levels and Funding Proposals - Draft Report |

Resolution number GBI/2021/75 MOVED by Chairperson I Fordham, seconded by Member S Daly: That the Aotea / Great Barrier Local Board: a) note that this is a complex issue and suggests that the matter be revisited in two frames: firstly, governance and greater decision making for local boards, and secondly how do we establish what council’s core community service provisions are, and then to ensure equity of service provision and access across all of Auckland. b) delegate the chairperson in consultation with other board members, to provide feedback using the attached template (Attachment B to the agenda report) to the Joint Governance Working Party on the funding and decision-making proposals set out in the Equity of Service Levels and Funding Proposals – Draft Report.
