1 Welcome

Chair Saffron Toms opened the meeting and welcomed those present.

That the Waitākere Ranges Local Board:

a) accept the apology from Deputy Chair Greg Presland for absence.

3 Declaration of Interest

Members were reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

Specifically, members are asked to identify any new interests they have not previously disclosed, an interest that might be considered as a conflict of interest with a matter on the agenda.

a) confirm the minutes of its ordinary meeting, held on Thursday, 27 May 2021, as true and correct.

Adoption of the Waitākere Ranges Local Board Agreement 2021/2022

Resolution number WTK/2021/71

MOVED by Member M Allen, seconded by Chairperson S Toms:

That the Waitākere Ranges Local Board:

a) adopt the local content for the 10-year Budget, which includes the Waitākere Ranges Local Board Agreement 2021/2022 and the message from the Chair (Attachment A).

b) adopt a local fees and charges schedule for 2021/2022 (Attachment B).

c) delegate authority to the Chair to make any final changes to the local content for the 10-year Budget 2021-2031 (the Waitākere Ranges Local Board Agreement 2021/2022 and the message from the Chair).

d) note that the resolutions of this meeting will be reported back to the Governing Body when it meets to adopt the 10-year Budget 2021-2031, including each Local Board Agreement, on 29 June 2021.
