welcomed Ronelle Baker (Ngāti Porou,
Waikato-Tainui and Ngāpuhi), new member of the Disability Advisory Panel.

That the Disability
Advisory Panel:
a)
noted the apologies from Bonnie Robinson and Chantelle Griffiths
for absence.
|
2 Declaration
of Interest
Members were
reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a
conflict arose between their role as a member and any private or other external
interest they might have.
Co-chair Jason
Boberg declared potential conflict of interest, in relation to his involvement
in the Auckland Council's climate team, in a disability and
climate program/ work stream.

of Minutes

noted the ordinary minutes of its meeting,
held on Monday, 28 June 2021, as a true and correct
record.

Elodie Fontaine, Election
Programme Manager, Litia Brighouse-Fuavao, Senior Advisor Deliberative
Democracy, Simon Stewart, Election Advisor and Dale Ofsoske, Electoral
Officer were in attendance.

the attached presentation
b) provided
feedback and input on initiatives to promote and encourage participation from
people with disabilities in the 2022 local election.
