a) confirm the ordinary minutes of its meeting, held on Monday, 27 September 2021, as a true and correct record.

4 Extraordinary Business

4.1

Extraordinary Business - City Centre Lead - Implementation of the City Centre Masterplan 2020

Resolution number CEN/2021/22

MOVED by Mr P Reynolds, seconded by Ms VB Beck:

That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board:

a) agree that, pursuant to Standing Order 1.3.2, and at the discretion of the chairperson, the meeting will discuss the matter of City Centre Lead - Implementation of the City Centre Masterplan 2020 at item 8 – Consideration of Extraordinary Items.

i) the reason the matter was not on the agenda and could not be delayed until February 2022 was because the report “City Centre Lead - Implementation of the City Centre Masterplan 2020” is on the agenda of the Planning Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday, 30 November 2021.

5	City centre revitalisation and regeneration
	A presentation was given in support of this item. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.
	Ms Noelene Buckland entered the meeting 2.11pm. Mr Jamey Holloway entered the meeting 2.11pm.
	Chairperson Mr Andrew Gaukrodger advised that he needed to leave the meeting and vacated the chair in favour of Deputy Chairperson Mr James Mooney at 2.57pm
	Resolution number CEN/2021/23 MOVED by Ms VB Beck, seconded by Mr P Reynolds: That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board: a) receive the update on the Auckland Council group programmes to support the city centre to recover from COVID-19 lockdowns and continue to thrive in the future. CARRIED

8 Consideration of Extraordinary Items

8.1

City Centre Lead - Implementation of the City Centre Masterplan 2020

MOVED by Ms VB Beck, seconded by Mr P Reynolds:

That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board:

a) agree that the board support the appointment of a lead agency with coordination responsibilities to implement the City Centre Masterplan 2020.
