Classification of Bellgrove East and Bellgrove West Reserves Avondale |

Resolution number WH/2022/34 MOVED by Chairperson K Thomas, seconded by Deputy Chairperson F Amosa: That the Whau Local Board: a) resolve to classify the Bellgrove Reserves under section 16(2A) of the Reserves Act 1977 as follows: i) Bellgrove Reserve East being Lot 5 DP 100239 contained in Record of Title NA54D/1144 as recreation reserve ii) Bellgrove Reserve West being Lot 2 DP 100239 contained in Record of Title NA 54D/1143 as recreation reserve. b) thank Wendy Morrice, Specialist Technical Statutory Advisor, for her attendance to speak to the item. |

Resolution number WH/2022/36 MOVED by Chairperson K Thomas, seconded by Member S Zhu: That the Whau Local Board: a) approve the reallocation of $44,559 underspend 2021/2022 locally driven initiatives budget towards the following activities: i) ID 565: Māori Responsiveness: E Tu - $28,000 ii) ID 566: Placemaking: Neighbourhood and town centre development - $3,104 iii) ID 1235: Avondale and Rosebank local parks service assessment - $5,000 iv) ID 580: Community Grants Whau - $8,455. |

Resolution number WH/2022/37 MOVED by Member J Rose, seconded by Deputy Chairperson F Amosa: That the Whau Local Board: a) receive the progress update on Auckland’s draft Transport Emissions Reduction Plan, welcome the opportunity to provide input, and thank the staff for their work on this document. b) support the transformational 64 per cent reduction in transport emissions in Auckland by 2030 as set out in Tāruke-ā-Tāwhiri and look forward to further discussions around how this can be supported in the Whau Local Board area. c) adopt a table of feedback using the staff-provided template, to be appended herewith as Minutes Attachment A. |

staff for their work in developing the draft 2021 Regional Parks Management
