Member Ingrid Papau opened the meeting and welcomed those present with a karakia.
Resolution number HM/2022/88 MOVED by Member I Papau, seconded by Member P Chan: That the Henderson-Massey Local Board: a) accept the apology from Member M Grey for absence. |
Members are reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

Member W Flavell acknowledged Rehutai Appleyard’s success at the Ngā Manu Kōrero ki te Waitematā Junior Speech Competition. |

Resolution number HM/2022/90 MOVED by Member W Flavell, seconded by Chairperson V Neeson: That the Henderson-Massey Local Board acknowledges Rehutai Appleyard who recently won the prestigious Ngā Manu Kōrero ki te Waitematā Junior Speech Competition covering schools from North Shore, Central and West Auckland. He was born and raised in the Henderson-Massey Local Board area and currently attends Western Springs College (Ngā Puna o Waiōrea). He will be representing this region in the Ngā Manu Kōrero National Competition in September 2022. |

Approval for new private and public road names at 50-66 Westgate Drive, Massey |

Resolution number HM/2022/96 MOVED by Member C Carter, seconded by Member P Chan: That the Henderson-Massey Local Board: a) approve the names Kūaha Road for Road 1, Puihi Crescent for JOAL1, Tīeke Lane for JOAL 2, Arura Place for JOAL 4 and Heketara Way JOAL 5 for the one new public road and four new private roads created by way of subdivision at 50-66 Westgate Drive, Massey, in accordance with section 319(1)(j) of the Local Government Act 1974 (Road naming reference RDN90100246 and resource consent references BUN60380772 and SUB60380774). |

Adoption of the 2022-2024 Joint Council-controlled Organisations (CCOs) Local Board Engagement Plan, and the Joint Council-controlled Organisations (CCOs) Local Board Engagement Plan 2021/2022 Quarter Three Update |

Resolution number HM/2022/97 MOVED by Member I Papau, seconded by Member B Loader: That the Henderson-Massey Local Board: a) adopt the Henderson-Massey Local Board Joint Council-controlled Organisation (CCOs) Local Board Engagement Plan 2022-2024 (Attachment A to the agenda report), as an agreement between the local board and Auckland Council’s substantive Council-controlled Organisations: Auckland Transport, Eke Panuku Development Auckland (Eke Panuku), Tātaki Auckland Unlimited and WaterCare. b) note that the agreed work programmes of the four substantive Council-controlled Organisations are appended to the Joint Council-controlled Organisation (CCOs) Local Board Engagement Plan 2022-2024 (Attachment A to the agenda report) and these work programmes will be updated as needed by the CCOs, with changes reported to the local board each quarter. c) authorise the Chair of the local board to sign this agreement on behalf of the local board, alongside representatives from the four Council-controlled Organisations. d) note the quarter three update to the Joint Council-controlled Organisations (CCOs) Local Board Engagement Plan 2021/2022. |
