Resolution number HB/2022/103 MOVED by Member J Parfitt, seconded by Member G Holmes: That the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board: a) acknowledge the following national architectural award winners: i) Victor Apartments, Browns Bay- Gold Medal Award, New Zealand Commercial Projects ii) Kakapo Creek Children’s Garden, Mairangi Bay - Property Council Award New Zealand award – excellence. |

Resolution number HB/2022/105 MOVED by Member J Parfitt, seconded by Member A Poppelbaum: That the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board: a) request that Auckland Transport provide a report to to the September 2022 business meeting of the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board on i) their review of how the Bute Road/Beach Road intersection upgrade was carried out ii) what improvements could be made for future projects including stake holder engagements, prior to the projects commencing. |

Proposed new community lease to The Hibiscus Coast Community House Incorporated at 2a Centreway Road, Orewa |

Resolution number HB/2022/110 MOVED by Member J Fitzgerald, seconded by Member L Willis: That the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board: a) grant a new community lease to The Hibiscus Coast Community House for an area comprising approximately 1848m2 located at 2a Centreway Road, Orewa on the land legally described as Lot 2 Deposited Plan 204342 (as per Attachment A to the Agenda Report – Site Plan), subject to the following terms and conditions: i) term – 10 years, commencing 1 September 2022, with one 10-year right of renewal ii) rent – $1.00 plus GST per annum if demanded iii) Community Outcomes Plan - to be appended to the lease as a schedule of the lease agreement (as per Attachment B to the Agenda Report– Community Outcomes Plan) b) approve all other terms and conditions in accordance with the Auckland Council Community Occupancy Guidelines 2012 and the Reserves Act 1977 c) note that public notification and iwi engagement for Auckland Council’s intention to grant a new community lease to the Hibiscus Coast Community House located at Western Reserve, 2a Centreway Road, Orewa has been undertaken between 16 June 2022 to 15 July 2022 d) note that no objections to the notified proposal of the new community lease were received. |

Resolution number HB/2022/113 MOVED by Member J Fitzgerald, seconded by Deputy Chairperson V Short: That the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board: a) note due to a processing error, two applications were omitted from the report list for consideration of funding under the Transitional Rates Grants Round 2022/2023 and have been added to the list in item b), these being: i) TRG22-008 Rothesay Bay Ratepayers and Business Association ii) TRG22-009 Torbay Community Association Incorporated applications. b) agree to fund, part-fund or decline each application received in Hibiscus and Bays Transitional Rates Grants Round 2022/2023, listed in Table Two:
c) note that the amounts listed in clause b) have been amended to reflect the 2022-2023 rates accounts. |

Auckland Council’s Quarterly Performance Report: Hibiscus and Bays Local Board for quarter four 2021/2022 |

Resolution number HB/2022/116 MOVED by Member J Parfitt, seconded by Chairperson G Brown: That the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board: a) receive the performance report for quarter four ending 30 June 2022 b) note the financial performance report will remain confidential until after the Auckland Council Group results for 2021/2022 are released to the New Zealand’s Exchange (NZX) which are expected to be made public on or about 29 August 2022. |

Local board feedback on the proposed Auckland Climate Grant programme 2022/2023 |

Resolution number HB/2022/118 MOVED by Member J Parfitt, seconded by Member J Fitzgerald: That the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board: a) provides the following feedback on the proposed Auckland Climate Grant programme 2022/2023: i) support the proposed Auckland Climate Grant scheme, including the purpose, scope, and criteria, as an important mechanism to support local community-based climate mitigation projects ii) requests that the scope or criteria should include a focus on projects with a positive impact on local communities iii) requests that when allocating this fund, one of the criteria be to ensure a fair geographic spread of projects iv) requests that when allocating this fund, consideration should be given to whether applications will benefit low, or fixed income, residents. |
