a)    “request Auckland Transport reinstate the direct Onehunga to Britomart service under urgency

b)    request Auckland Transport fully investigate options for maintaining level of service for Onehunga users with Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board, and investigate the requirements to keep Onehunga Line as critical part of rail network post City Rail Link”

b)        note the financial performance report in Attachment B of the report will  remain confidential until after the Auckland Council Group results for 2021/2022 are released to the New Zealand’s Exchange (NZX) which are expected to be made public on 29 August 2022.

Local board feedback on the proposed Auckland Climate Grant programme 2022/2023

That the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board:

a)    support the new Auckland Climate Grant, including the purpose, grant programme scope and criteria, climate action priority areas, types of grants, and timing of grants.

b)    support the equitable geographical distribution of grant allocations to local board areas with little or no development with climate action grants and programmes.

c)    support Auckland Climate Grant 2022/23 with key priorities where projects in local boards are focused on addressing transport, build environment and energy, food, and Māori led initiatives.

d)    note the need to continue and prioritise work in conservation, water quality and katiakitanga.

Local Government Electoral Legislation Bill

b)    support the need to adjust local board boundaries and alignment with ward boundaries.

c)    support the deferral of report on Māori Representation to the Governing Body until after the local election.

d)    support the inclusion of the new Schedule 3A to the Local Government Act 2002 to provide processes for the reorganization of local boards.
