Chairperson I Fordham opened the meeting and welcomed everyone in attendance. Member V Toki led the meeting in a karakia.

Deputy Chairperson L Coles declared an interest in respect to the grant applications of Envirokiwi Community Enterprise Limited & Aotea Family Support Group at item 11 – Aotea / Great Barrier Local and Capital Grants Round One 2022/2023 grant allocations report.

Member P O’Shea declared an interest in respect to the grant application of Envirokiwi Community Enterprise Limited at item 11 – Aotea / Great Barrier Local and Capital Grants Round One 2022/2023 grant allocations report.

Member V Toki declared an interest in respect to the grant applications of Motairehe Marae Trust and Ngatiwai O Aotea Kawa Marae at item 11 – Aotea / Great Barrier Local and Capital Grants Round One 2022/2023 grant allocations report.

a)          express its condolences to the whanau and friends of Marty Mitchener, Mike Gardner and Clayton Ballantyne who recently passed away.
