b) tautapa / delegate authority to the Chair Angela Fulljames to work with other local board chairpersons to form a selection panel to appoint a local board representative to the Local Government New Zealand (LGNZ) National Council as soon as possible. c) seek further advice on the Waiomanu Pā Kainga Reserve co-management agreement and appoint local board representatives accordingly. |

Resolution number FR/2022/171 MOVED by Deputy Chairperson A Cole, seconded by Member S Druyven: That the Franklin Local Board: a) note the decision made under delegation by Chair Baker and Deputy Chair Fulljames to approve a report under urgency on 7 October 2022 during the 2022 election period, as follows: That the Franklin Local Board: a) rescind resolution FR/2022/146 (a) as follows: grant landowner approval to Surf Life Saving Kariaotahi Incorporated occupying 2,134 square metres (more or less) of Karioitahi Gap Domain Recreation Reserve, 701 and 685 Karioitahi Road, Karioitahi as indicated on the lease site plan (Attachment A) for: i) the construction of a new clubhouse ii) development of wastewater disposal fields iii) establishing access and sharing arrangement with the council for use of the existing bore water supply iv) easements over existing and proposed underground services.
b) approve a replacement to resolution FR/2022/146 (a) by granting landowner approval to Surf Life Saving Kariaotahi Incorporated occupying 2,134 square metres (more or less) of Karioitahi Gap Domain Recreation Reserve, 701 and 685 Karioitahi Road, Karioitahi with an additional area as indicated in (8) Figure 1 Amended land use scope for: i) the construction of a new clubhouse ii) development of wastewater disposal fields iii) establishing access and sharing arrangement with the council for use of the existing bore water supply iv) easements over existing and proposed underground services. |
