Note: Before the meeting began Glenn Boyd, Local Area Manager
- Aotea / Great Barrier and Waiheke Local Boards, advised the locations of the
emergency exits and conveniences.
Note: Glenn Boyd, Local Area Manager - Aotea / Great Barrier
and Waiheke Local Boards, chaired the meeting for items, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and
7. From item 7 onwards, the newly elected chairperson chaired the meeting.

Services, witnessed the member’s signatures.

Glenn Boyd, Local Area Manager -

voting systems and requested a mover and a seconder.

That
the Waiheke Local Board:
a) agree
to utilize System B of Clause 25, Schedule 7 of the Local Government Act 2002
to elect its chairperson.

the position of Chairperson.

Member Tucker nominated Member Handley
for the Chairperson role. Member Handley seconded the nomination.
Member Walden nominated Kylee Matthews
for the Chairperson role. Member Matthews seconded the nomination.
Members voted. The
result of the vote was 3 to 2 in favour of Member Cath Handley, who won the
vote.
