a) acknowledge Sir Haare Williams who was recently appointed a Knight Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2023 New Year Honours for services to Māori, literature and education. |

Resolution number PPK/2023/3 MOVED by Chairperson B Catchpole, seconded by Member A Webster: That the Papakura Local Board:
a) acknowledge the Supreme Sikh Society for providing more than 2000 hot meals and food parcels to flood victims from New Lynn to Glenfield and Māngere.
b) acknowledge Ngāti Tamaoho for providing kai and support to flood victims in the community, although suffering from property loss and landslides at their own Marae.
c) acknowledge Papakura Marae for providing social servies support including food bank, clothing bank and advice for their local community in need. |

a) Michael Barnett who was made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit (CNZM) for services to business.
b) Charles Veitch who was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM) for services to wildlife conservation.
c) Henriette Nakhle who was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) for services to the Lebanese community. |

Resolution number PPK/2023/5 MOVED by Chairperson B Catchpole, seconded by Member K Hieatt: That the Papakura Local Board: a) approve local consultation document content (Attachment A tabled at the meeting) and local supporting information content (Attachment B tabled at the meeting) for inclusion in the Annual Budget 2023/2024 consultation material. b) delegate authority to the local board Chair to approve any changes required to finalise the local consultation document and supporting information content for the Papakura Local Board for the Annual Budget 2023/2024. c) approve the following Have Your Say event in the local board area during the Annual Budget 2023/2024 consultation period: i) Special Consultative Procedure event ‘World of Culture’ taking place 25 March 2023, 10am - 2pm at Te Paataka Koorero o Takaanini (Takaanini Community Hub) d) delegate authority to the local board Chair to approve any changes required to the Have Your Say event. e) delegate to the following elected members and staff the power and responsibility to receive feedback and hear from the public through “spoken (or New Zealand sign language) interaction” at the council’s public engagement events during the consultation period for the Annual Budget 2023/2024: i) local board members and Chair ii) General Manager Local Board Services, Local Area Manager, Local Board Senior Advisor, Local Board Advisor, Local Board Engagement Advisor iii) any additional staff approved by the General Manager Local Board Services or the Group Chief Financial Officer |

Resolution number PPK/2023/6 MOVED by Chairperson B Catchpole, seconded by Deputy Chairperson J Robinson: That the Papakura Local Board: a) approves the names Viridian Avenue for Road 14 and Verde Lane for Road 20 created by way of subdivision at 2 Wintergarden Avenue, Hingaia, Flat Bush, in accordance with section 319(1)(j) of the Local Government Act 1974 (Road naming reference RDN90101398, resource consent references BUN60391060 and SUB60351620). b) approves the names Kohepiro Lane for COAL 500 and Kahakaha Lane for COAL 501 created by way of subdivision at 2 Wintergarden Avenue, Hingaia, in accordance with section 319(1)(j) of the Local Government Act 1974 (Road naming reference RDN90105410, resource consent references BUN60393262 and SUB60393265). |
