Resolution number FR/2023/43 MOVED by Member G Holmes, seconded by Member A Kay: That the Franklin Local Board: (a) approve the allocation of the Franklin Tourism Development Fund as follows: (i) $9,850 to Clevedon Community and Business Association for: Creation
of a digital map $3,500 (ii) $17,500 to Manukau Heads Lighthouse Trust for improved signage and the development and distribution of a brochure. b) note that the $2,650 balance of funding allocated to this work programme line (ID3109: Franklin Tourism Partnership Fund) is available for reallocation. |

MOVED by Member A Hopkins, seconded by Member M Bell JP: That the Franklin Local Board: a) approve the reallocation of $82,650 underspend as follows: i) reallocate $5,000 from ID114: Community Placemaking and Safety to a new 2023/2024 work programme: ‘Franklin Paths Programme’ to be delivered by Regional Service and Strategy ii) reallocate $5,000 from ID111: Hire Fee Subsidy, $5,000 from ID 117: Local Civic Events, $5,000 from ID2992: Clevedon Showgrounds Reserve park service assessment, $10,000 from ID530: Karioitahi Beach Recreation Reserve park service assessment (a total of $25,000) to ID 121: Community Grants Franklin - $25,000 iii) reallocate $26,000 from ID537: Waterway Protection Fund to ID 564: Te Korowai o Papatuuaanuku. iv) reallocate $10,000 from ID537: Waterway Protection Fund to ID 570: Finding Franklin Bats. v) reallocate $14,000 from ID537: Waterway Protection Fund to ID 552: Predator Free Franklin Te Arahikoi vi) reallocate $2,650 from the Tātaki Auckland Unlimited work programme and from ID3109: Franklin Tourism Partnership Fund to Infrastructure and Environmental Services work programme ID 552: Predator Free Franklin Te Arahikoi. Resolution number FR/2023/45 MOVED by Chairperson A Fulljames, seconded by Member A Hopkins: That the Franklin Local Board: a) receive the update report from Auckland Transport to April 2023. b) note with concern the ongoing risk at the corner of Creightons, Tourist and Papakura-Clevedon Roads, and request that improvements to this intersection are implemented without delay. c) request an urgent explanation of how regional and subregional programme budgets are allocated, with a view to establishing if they are allocated by need e.g growth or risk, or by location. d) request a response to last month’s resolution on flood damage. e) reiterate that Franklin Local Board supports Auckland Transport prioritising Pukekohe signalisation, and the Hingaia and Oakland Road, Papakura intersection projects as critical projects that address the significant greenfield development and associated growth in Franklin. f) note that the Lisle Farm Drive and Adams Drive projects have not been completed and request an update. |
