The Interim Chairperson, Litiana Karika, welcomed members, staff and public to the meeting.

a)         accepted the apology from member Penina Tu’una’i-lfopo for absence.

At 7.33pm the interim Chairperson Litiana Karika vacated the chair in favour of Eddie Tuiavii, Lead Officer of the Pacific Peoples Advisory Panel.

Election of Pacific Peoples Advisory Panel co-chairs for the 2022 - 2025 term

 

Note:   Nominations for the position of Co-Chairpersons for the 2022-2025 term had been received from Litiana Karika and Seumanu Simon Matāfai, JP. The Lead Officer called for further nominations and, there being none, advised the meeting that Litiana Karika and Seumanu Simon Matāfai, JP were declared elected as Co-Chairpersons for the 2022-2025 term.

            The Co-Chairpersons were provided the opportunity to thank members for supporting their nominations.

The Pacific Peoples Advisory Panel:

a)      elected Litiana Karika and Seumanu Simon Matāfai, JP  as Co-Chairpersons for the 2022 – 2025 term.

 

 

 

 

 

The Lead Officer closed the meeting with a karakia.
