That the Puketāpapa Local Board:

a)      whiwhi / receive submissions and feedback on the draft Puketāpapa Local Board Plan 2023.

b)      kohuki / consider feedback when finalising the Puketāpapa Local Board Plan 2023

c)      thank Mary Hay and Cathy McIntosh for their attendance.

Government Policy Statement on Land Transport 2024

 

Resolution number PKTPP/2023/127

MOVED by Member J Turner, seconded by Chairperson E Kumar:  

That the Puketāpapa Local Board:

a)      whakarite / provide feedback on the proposed direction of the draft Government Policy Statement on Land Transport 2024.

b)        support the six strategic priorities identified in the GPS 2024, particularly the focus on sustainable urban and regional development.

c)         note that the draft Government Policy Statement on Land Transport proposes an increase in National Land Transport Fund (NLTF) revenue of $5.3 billion (34 per cent).

d)        request that the roundabout at Denbigh Avenue and Dominion Road be prioritised for improvements under the safety programme.

e)         request that funding for footpath renewals is increased as part of the increase in Local road maintenance and renewals activity.

f)          support the inclusion of the Avondale-Southdown rail corridor project.
