Chairperson G Presland opened the meeting with a Karakia and welcomed those present.

3 Te Whakapuaki i te Whai Pānga | Declaration of Interest

Members are reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

Specifically, members are asked to identify any new interests they have not previously disclosed, an interest that might be considered as a conflict of interest with a matter on the agenda.

4	Submissions and feedback on the draft Waitākere Ranges Local Board Plan 2023
	A copy of the Waitākere Ranges Local Board Plan 2023 Summary of Feedback was tabled. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.
	MOVED by Chairperson G Presland, seconded by Member L Manley: That the Waitākere Ranges Local Board: a) whiwhi / receive submissions and feedback on the draft Waitākere Ranges Local Board Plan 2023. b) kohuki / consider feedback when finalising the Waitākere Ranges Local Board Plan 2023.

	MOVED by Member S Coney, seconded by Member L Potauaine, an amendment to clause a) by a way of addition: That the Waitākere Ranges Local Board: a) whiwhi / receive submissions and feedback on the draft Waitākere Ranges Local Board Plan 2023 with the addition of the names of the organisations and people that came to the Have Your Say event on 3 August 2023. The amendment was put and was CARRIED

	The substantive motion was put.
	Resolution number WTK/2023/111 That the Waitākere Ranges Local Board: a) whiwhi / receive submissions and feedback on the draft Waitākere Ranges Local Board Plan 2023 with the addition of the names of the organisations and people that came to the Have Your Say event on 3 August 2023. b) kohuki / consider feedback when finalising the Waitākere Ranges Local Board Plan 2023. CARRIED
