The chairperson opened the meeting and welcomed those in attendance.

Member V Short led the karakia timatanga.

Member A Poppelbaum acknowledged the man who passed away on 2 December 2023 in a water related incident at Rothesay Bay.

	Resolution number HB/2023/184 MOVED by Member S Mills, seconded by Member J Law: That the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board: a)      whakamihi / thank Rob Hutton, Theresa Manu and Finn Swales for their presentation and attendance at the meeting. CARRIED

8.3	Deputation - Wayne Donnelly and Ivy Li
	Additional information was provided. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.
	Resolution number HB/2023/185 That the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board: MOVED by Deputy Chairperson J Parfitt, seconded by Member G Walden: a)      tono / request that a copy of the presentation and photographs be forwarded to the Community Facilities department for the arborist to investigate and report back on the condition of the trees at the southern end of Browns Bay Beach Reserve (in front of 4 Browns Bays Road) b)      tono / request confirmation that the land in front of 4 Browns Bay Road is part of Browns Bay Beach Reserve c)      whakamihi / thank Wayne Donnelly, Ivy Li and Lili Wang for their presentation and attendance at the meeting.
