Resolution number WHK/2023/156 MOVED by Chairperson C Handley, seconded by Member K Matthews: That the Waiheke Local Board: a) thank Jan Robertson and Deb Davison for speaking to the installation of a pickleball court on Waiheke. b) request Community Facilities report back to the opportunity to use a corner of the Blackpool Reserve concrete pad or alternative sites for a pickleball court.

Staff advice relating to the raising of the Palestinian flag |

Resolution number WHK/2023/158 MOVED by Member P Walden, seconded by Member R Tucker: That the Waiheke Local Board: a) whiwhi / receive staff advice on flying the Palestinian flag at Auckland Council offices on Waiheke Island. b) tuhi ā-taipitopito / note correspondence received regarding resolution WHK/2023/165. c) restate the earlier resolution to fly the Palestinian flag in solidarity with Palestinian communities and note that this in no way condones the actions of Hamas or any other militant party. d) amend the dates for the Palestinian flag to be flown from 13 December 2023 to 13 January 2024 and that this recognises the date of the UN resolution seeking an immediate ceasefire in Palestine. A division was called for, voting on which was as follows:
