That the Ōrākei Local Board:

a)          accept the apology from Member P Tucker for lateness.

3          Te Whakapuaki i te Whai Pānga | Declaration of Interest

 

Member T Churton declared an interest in Item 5 – Long-Term Plan 2024-2034: local board consultation feedback and input as a trustee of the Auckland Marine Rescue Centre.

Long-Term Plan 2024-2034: local board consultation feedback and input

 

Justin Kary, Senior Local Board Advisor, and Sugenthy Thomson, Lead Financial Advisor, were in attendance to speak to the item.

 

A document was tabled in support of this item. A copy of the tabled document has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.

 

Resolution number OR/2024/39

MOVED by Chairperson S Milne, seconded by Member T Churton:  

That the Ōrākei Local Board:

a)      receive consultation feedback on the proposed Ōrākei Local Board priorities and activities for 2024/2025 and key advocacy initiatives for 2024-2034.

b)      receive consultation feedback on regional topics in the Long-term Plan 2024-2034 from people and organisations based in the Ōrākei Local Board area.

c)          provide the tabled feedback on regional topics in the proposed Long-term Plan 2024-2034 and advocacy initiatives to the Governing Body. A division was called for, voting on which was as follows:
