Member Wyllis Maihi opened the hui with a
karakia.

Members are reminded of the need
to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises
between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they
might have.
Member A Hawke advised that he
was no longer a member of Auckland Masters Rugby League Inc.
Member W Maihi advised that he
was now Kaumātua for Kāhui Arahi.
Chair M Royal advised that the
Waitemata Harbour Crossing Project Alliance Board was no longer operating.
The register of interest would
be updated.

That the Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Reserves Board:
a) agree that resolution
NGA/2024/11 pertaining to Item
7.7: Extraordinary Business – Kepa Road Intersection –
Pourewa Turning Head from the 11
March 2024 meeting, be rescinded:

by Cr A Dalton, seconded by Member A Hawke:
a) agree
to proceed with the turning head at Pourewa
b) agree to Option 1, being a concrete surface,
for the turning head at Pourewa
c) request management to consider the parking
design surrounding the turning head at Pourewa and to consider semi-permeable
surfaces.
and replaced with:
a) approve the new Kepa Road Intersection design
with the entry to Pourewa Reserve to remain in its current location, with the
intersection upgrade including a three-way traffic light phasing as set out
in Attachment A of the agenda report of this meeting
