Reimagine Toi Whītiki – 9 June 2022 Note: Approach and timing to be assessed Engagement with sector on reimagining strategy paused in March 2023 due to proposed budget cuts in 2023/2024 Annual Budget. Following budget confirmation and directive to consolidate strategies, an approach has been reassessed. Focus will be on addressing three key shifts (which were approved by the Parks, Arts, Community and Events Committee. The redevelopment of Toi Whītiki will be considered as part of the simplify and consolidate strategies work. The current strategy remains in place in the interim. Timing on any future reporting to the committee to be determined subject to outcomes of the Simplify and Consolidate project.
