Governing Body Workshop 18 September 2024

Mayor Brown had asked Cr Julie Fairey to chair the meeting as she was the chair of the Joint Governance Working Party.

Members are reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

There were no declarations of interest.

3	WORKSHOP:  Representation Review - Initial Proposal
	A PowerPoint presentation was given in support of the item.  A copy is attached to the minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a notes attachment. The PowerPoint presentation covered the following topics.

Members asked and received answers to their questions.

For clarification, the terminology used in the PowerPoint presentation such as “no change” was in relation to the initial proposal.
