While Auckland Council plays a role in providing essential services and spaces, broader issues like poverty and mental health require coordinated responses from all levels of government and community stakeholders b) tono / support Ngā Hapori Momoho, and is committed to securing resources for our community. We will take the opportunities to partner with government, iwi, and local groups to ensure rangatahi (young people) succeed, that includes the following: i) safe community spaces that promote wellbeing, cultural events, and connection ii) improved transport options to keep young people connected and accessing services iii) greater youth involvement in decisions, through leadership programmes and platforms shaping policy and development. c) tuhi ā-taipitopito / note that budget clarity is crucial. To effectively implement the strategy, we advocate for clear, sufficient funding from the Governing Body. Without it, projects face delays and challenges, hindering the ability to meet community needs. Securing a defined budget is essential for successful planning, tracking, and delivering outcomes, especially in high youth-population areas. |
