	The meeting opened with karakia and the Chair welcomed everyone present.

MOVED by Member A Fulljames, seconded by Member PB Bhana:

That the Pukekohe Cemetery Committee:

a) whakaae / accept the apology from Member Teareapa Kahi,  Member Pare Rauwhero, and Member Tini Astle, for absence.

3          Te Whakapuaki i te Whai Pānga | Declaration of Interest

Members are reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

There were no declarations of interest.

4          Te Whakaū i ngā Āmiki | Confirmation of Minutes

MOVED by Member PB Bhana, seconded by Chairperson  Heke:

That the Pukekohe Cemetery Committee:

a) whakaū / confirm the ordinary minutes of its meeting, held on Tuesday, 28 May 2024 as true and correct.

5          Ngā Pakihi Autaia | Extraordinary Business

            There was no extraordinary business

5	Approval of the engagement plan for the Pukekohe Cemetery memorial project
	Mathew Glanfield, Project Manager, Carol McKenzie-Rex, Community Engagement Kaiwhakahaere, and Leah Mehana, Māori Engagement Advisor, were in attendance for this item.
	Resolution number PCC/2024/9 MOVED by Chairperson  Heke, seconded by Member A Fulljames: That the Pukekohe Cemetery Committee: a)      whakaae / approve the engagement plan for this project - a memorial to the unmarked graves in the Pukekohe Cemetery as provided in Attachment A. CARRIED

There was no consideration of extraordinary items.

The meeting ended with karakia.
