Resolution number DT/2025/6 MOVED by Chairperson T van Tonder, seconded by Deputy Chairperson T Harpur: That the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board: a) tautoko / support the proposed intersection upgrade at Vauxhall/Tainui Roads and note the following: i. tautoko / support the project outcomes to improve safety at the Vauxhall/Tainui intersection ii. tautoko / support the new table across Tainui road, and improved safety crossing at Vauxhall Road, in addition to the kerb buildouts and auxiliary safety improvements. iii. tono / request further consideration be given on the need to raise the whole intersection to achieve improved safety outcomes iv. tūtohu / recommend that AT liaise with local businesses to determine most appropriate construction methodology and time frame. v. tono / request that AT liaise with nearby businesses, providing a direct contact to attend to issues as they arise.

I. 100 Aberdeen Road Campbells Bay raised crossing - $306,455. II. 6 Auburn Street pedestrian crossing - $250,000. b) whakaae / approves as its first priority, that any cost savings from its currently active projects and/or any new additional funding that becomes available be applied to its active projects if they require additional funding to complete within the current 3-year local board programme.

Auckland Council’s Quarterly Performance Report: Devonport-Takapuna Local Board for quarter two 2024/2025 |

Resolution number DT/2025/14 MOVED by Chairperson T van Tonder, seconded by Deputy Chairperson T Harpur: That the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board: a) whiwhi / receive the integrated performance report for quarter two ending 31 December 2024. b) tuhi ā-taipitopito / note the financial performance report in Attachment B of the agenda report will remain confidential until after the Auckland Council Group half-year results for 2024/2025 are released to the New Zealand Exchange (NZX), which are expected to be made public on or about 28 February 2025. c) tuhi ā-taipitopito / note the revised concept design for the playground at Achilles reserve as shown on Attachment D to this report. d) tono / request that a workshop with the local board’s youth specialist be scheduled to learn more about outcomes in the youth space. e) tono / request that a workshop be provided on project ID 26409 Learn to Ride to discuss progressing this project with options and costs presented to the local board. f) tono / request that the revenue budget is further itemised to outline the revenue received against each local board service asset that is under a commercial lease. This includes but is not exclusive to: o Takapuna Sunday Market in Waiwharariki Anzac Square o Takapuna Beach Campground o Takapuna Pool Early Learning Centre o residential tenancies such at 52, 55, 56 King Edward Parade Houses g) tono / request that all commercial revenue for service assets is correctly coded to the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board budgets from 1 July 2024, noting that this has been requested repeatedly over the last two years, however the income still gets coded to regional budgets and CCOs. h) tono / request more detailed oversight and greater control of the full facilities contract, noting that the budget sits with the local board, yet we have no oversight and control of the current contract and have no power to authorise or manage overspends and cost increases. i) give thanks to our community partners and council staff for their achievement in the last quarter
