Resolution number GBI/2025/11 MOVED by Chairperson I Fordham, seconded by Deputy Chairperson C Ollivier: That the Aotea / Great Barrier Local Board: a) whakarite / provide the following feedback on the criteria for eligible projects for the Fix and Finish fund: i) tono / request that only a simple business case is required for projects less than $1m in value. b) whakarite / provide the following feedback on preferred funding allocation model for the Fix and Finish fund. i) tūtohu / recommend using the equitable distribution model. ii) tono / request the equitable distribution model take into account being across 13 boards rather than the full 21 boards and double the percentage for the two island boards to be 2% and 4%. c) tono / request that the resolutions
are shared with Waiheke Local Board and Waitematā and Gulf ward
councillor.

Resolution number GBI/2025/13 MOVED by Member P O'Shea, seconded by Member L Caine: That the Aotea / Great Barrier Local Board: a) whakarite / provide the following views on the proposed Vehicle Use and Parking Bylaw 2025: i) support replacing the current bylaws with a joint Auckland Transport and Auckland Council Traffic Bylaw, and adopt the required changes to provide for better efficiencies. ii) tuhi ā-taipitopito / note that Aotea / Great Barrier has a lack of on-island compliance enforcement and request consideration of resource to support any enforcement of the bylaws. b) tuhi ā-taipitopito / note the local board will not represent these views to the Joint Bylaw Panel.
