The public conduct of the part of the meeting would be likely to result in the disclosure of information for which good reason for withholding exists under section 7. |

s7(2)(f)(i) The withholding of the information is necessary to maintain the effective conduct of public affairs through the free and frank expression of opinions by or between or to members or officers or employees of any local authority in the course of their duty. In particular, the discussion will include on which projects should be part of the list submitted the Infrastructure Priorities Programme could require some commercial and politically sensitive discussions and may require staff to need the opportunity for free and frank advice. Happy to discuss if this would meet the threshold for a closed workshop or not. |
