The Seniors Advisory Panel:

a)          whakaae / accepted the apology from Fia Turner for absence and Cr Filipaina for early departure.

 

 

 

2          Te Whakapuaki i te Whai Pānga | Declaration of Interest

 

Members are reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

 

There were no declarations of interest.

 

 

 

3          Te Whakaū i ngā Āmiki | Confirmation of Minutes

Note:   changes were made to the original motion, adding new clauses b) and c), with the agreement of the meeting.

MOVED by Member Z Fazelnia, seconded by Member L Waugh:  

The Seniors Advisory Panel:

a)      kohuki / considered and provided guidance on its work priorities for 2025.

b)      requested that the actions of the next iteration of the Age Friendly Auckland Plan are more specific and therefore more measurable.

c)      whakaae / agreed that additional discussions will take place and recommendations will be added at the next meeting.

a)      arotake / reviewed Room to Move i te Pokapū Tāone - City Centre Parking Management Plan.

b)      tuku / provided feedback into the Room to Move i te Pokapū Tāone - City Centre Parking Management Plan.

Consultaion on the Annual Plan / Budget 2025/2026

 

A PowerPoint presentation was given.  A copy has been placed on the official agenda and is available on the Auckland Council website as an agenda attachment.

 

The Seniors Advisory Panel:

a)      arotake / reviewed and discussed the draft Annual Plan, asked questions of the Finance team, and considered any aspects it might wish to comment on in April 2025.

 

 

 

Note:   Item 12 – Panel priorities for 2025, was considered prior to Item 10 – Room to Move i te Pokapū Tāone, developing our City Centre Parking Management Plan
