Future of playgrounds in the Howick Local Board Area - Survey Results

Summary of discussions:

Board members were presented the working progress feedback of the Future of Playgrounds consultation engagement for review.

Plan Change – Additions to the Notable Trees Schedule (Schedule 10 of the Auckland Unitary Plan)

Summary of discussions:

The Board were provided the rationale for the Plan Change – Additions to the Notable Trees Schedule (Schedule 10 of the Auckland Unitary Plan), which is to address all nominations for trees and groups of trees received by Council, for evaluation and addition to the Schedule of Notable trees.

Board members were introduced to the new Community Activator, Andrew Poon Neighbourhood Support New Zealand, and received an update on activities undertaken from 21 August 2024 for the Howick Local Board, Pakuranga/Flat Bush areas.
