A division was called for, voting on which was as follows:

Resolution number DT/2025/31 MOVED by Deputy Chairperson T Harpur, seconded by Member P Allen: That the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board: b) elect Melissa Powell as chairperson of the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board for the period commencing 18 March 2025 to the end of the 2022-2025 political term. The motion was put to the vote by a show of hands and was declared CARRIED by 3 votes to 2.

Resolution number DT/2025/33 MOVED by Member M Powell, seconded by Deputy Chairperson T Harpur: That the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board: a) whiwhi / receive the Forward Works Programme brief, considered the information provided and requests Auckland Transport to apply the following levels of engagement to these projects: i) Collaborate with Auckland Transport about these projects or programmes: · 100 Aberdeen Road, Campbells Bay – Raised crossing · 6 Auburn Street – Pedestrian crossing. · Speed Advisory signs (if budget available) · Devonport-Takapuna CATTR-Funded Cycling Connections (Climate Action Transport Targeted Rate). Francis to Esmonde walking cycling bridge and cycling connections.

b) That the local board advocate about these projects or programmes: · Retention, increase and long-term security of the Local Board Transport Capital Fund to support us to make strategic decisions towards projects that span multiple trienniums. · Increased funding towards footpath renewals that meet a new wider standard. · Secure funding to progress the Francis-Esmonde walking cycling bridge. · Progress the upgrade of Lake Road c) tuku / provides any projects or programmes for Auckland Transport to consider for inclusion in future work programmes d) tuku / provides any projects or programmes for Auckland Transport to review that are not supported by the local community.
