Making Space for Water - Update

Staff were in attendance to discuss Making Space for Water maintenance in the Hibiscus and Bays area their approach to engaging with the public.

R&I update: Pest Free HBC and Environmental Restoration Coordinators update

Presenter:                     Sinead Brimacombe – Conservation Advisor

Summary of discussions

Ms Brimacombe was in attendance to provide an update on Pest Free Hibiscus Coast and Restore Hibiscus and Bays.

Hire subsidy at Whangaparāoa Library

Presenter:                     Jame Adkins – Place & Partner Specialist

                                      Eileen Sione – Manager Community Place - Library

Summary of discussions

Staff were in attendance to propose a new approach for their venue hire subsidy for the 2025/2026 work programme.

PCF update: Metro Park East carpark / install shade sails

Summary of discussions

Staff were in attendance to present potential locations for the installation of shade sails in the Hibiscus and Bays area, and to discuss concept design options and funding allocation requirements for Metro Park East Carpark.
