Shoreline Adaptation Plan – Pine Harbour to Bucklands Beach feedback Presenters: Kartik Bhat, Relationship Advisor Resilience & Infrastructure Lara Clarke, Principal Coastal Adaptation Specialist Purpose: Provide update on public engagement and strategies Governance Role: Summary of Discussions: An updated Shoreline Adaptation Plan for the eastern coastline was presented and discussed, along with engagement results with the public. The board noted the new strategy coding, and also highlighted some areas of concern that they would like included in the strategy. |

Pukekohe Civic Hub Enhancements (Eke Panuku) Presenters: Michelle Reynolds, Snr Strategic Project Manager Michael Nettleship, Principal Urban Designer Purpose: Obtain feedback to enable concept plan finalization and implementation strategy. Governance role: Setting direction/budget/priorities Summary of Discussions: Staff provided a revised concept plan for a Pukekohe Civic Hub based on the memorial hall and Franklin the Centre, which the board discussed and provided informal feedback to. In May an updated concept plan with more detail will be brought to a workshop. |

Pohutukawa Coast Youth Council (PCYC) update Presenter: Emma Helmich, Specialist Advisor, Youth Specialist PCYC representatives: Annalee Killip, Charlotte Smith, Olivia Spick, Magnus Wilson Paula Browne, Youth Coordinator Takutai Trust Purpose: Update the board on PCYC activities Governance role: Oversight and monitoring Summary of Discussions: The youth council members discussed their activities with the board and provided a brief presentation. The board thanked them for their attendance and encouraged their activities to continue. Attachment A: Pohutukawa Coast Youth Council presentation |
