Community Wellbeing Quarterly Update Presenters: Dany
Miller, Connected Communities Lead & Coach Purpose: Keep the board informed of work programme activities Governance role: Oversight and monitoring Summary of discussions: The Community Wellbeing team spoke to a quarterly update on the work programme, including Franklin Youth Participation, the Rural Libraries update, the Franklin Art Broker programme, Capacity and Resilience building work, the Franklin Hub Services activity and the Franklin Community Partnership programme. Rural Hall events and the Franklin Economic Development activities were included in the report while staff were on leave. |

Local Board Annual Plan WS7 - Annual Budget consultation feedback, input on fees and charges Presenters: Georgina Gilmour, Senior Advisor Lucy Stallworthy, Senior Māori Outcomes and Engagement Advisor Faithe Smith, Lead Financial Advisor Purpose: Discuss consultation feedback on the Annual Budget and Local Board Agreement topics. Input on regional topics, fees and charges. Governance role: Setting direction/budget/priorities Summary of Discussions: Consultation feedback was presented and discussed with the board. Possible Franklin Local Board feedback on Annual Plan 2025-2026 regional topics was explored, prior to a report coming to the business meeting on 29 Aprils 2025.
