Local Board Portfolio Review (Public excluded) Presenters: Akiko Shimizu-Alexander, Service and Asset Planning Specialist Angela Clark, Head of Service Investment & Programming Purpose: To provide local boards with an update on the analysis of opportunities for change. Governance Role: Setting direction/priorities Summary of Discussions: The board were updated on the portfolio review. |

Franklin Paths Programme update - Waiuku - Sandspit Presenters: Mayur Chauhan, Franklin Paths Programme Manager Jason Lee, Project Manager Purpose: Update the board on the Waiuku Paths Section B concept design. Governance Role: Keeping informed Summary of Discussions: The board requested that this project design be brought for formal resolution at a business meeting.

AT – Waiuku Safety Measures Presenters: Bruce Thomas, Elected Member Relationship Manager AT Reg Cuthers, Principal Project Manager Fran Amos, Principal Transport Engineer Danny Xu, Traffic Engineering Team Leader Purpose: Update the board on safety proposals for George and Queen St, Waiuku Governance role: Oversight and monitoring Summary of Discussions: The board requested a report to the business meeting to resolve on options for these projects.

Parks and Community Facilities work programme update Presenters: Moushmi Sharan, Work Programme Lead Eli Ewens, Manager Area Operations Jenny Young, Community Lease Advisor Kristen Greenfield, Parks and Places Specialist Purpose: Provide a monthly work programme update to the board Governance Role: Oversight and monitoring Summary of Discussions: Project updates included new fencing at Prospect Terrace to replace asbestos, Searle Pond planting, Paparata Reserve consultation, Routley Ave tree work, Linwood Road reserve classification, Te Puru Charitable Trust lease, and Pukekohe Borough building work. A report is requested for the Paparata Reserve Concept Plan.

Franklin Play Gap analysis scope and methodology Presenters: Kristen Greenfield, Parks and Places Specialist Purpose: Inform board of how findings will inform and support future planning and development of playgrounds in the Franklin area. Governance Role: Setting direction/priorities/budget Summary of Discussions: The board indicated this work should proceed, with some suggestions for what might be included.
